Head Coach – Jon Yates

Jon Yates has been passionate about lacrosse since he first picked up a stick at age 12. He developed his skills at Bountiful High School in Bountiful, Utah, before continuing his playing career at Brigham Young University. A lifelong student of the game, Jon brings years of playing and leadership experience to the sideline.

Off the field, Jon is a husband and proud father of three. He’s also a business owner in Lubbock, running Trimlight Lubbock, a local lighting company.

Driven by both his love for lacrosse and his commitment to community, Jon is excited to help Texas Tech Lacrosse continue to grow and regain its glory.
